and so it begins...

For those who have been following my facebook status and wondering why all the excavating, here is your answer... We have officially started our remodel and addition project. We will be adding a new master suite to the front of the house, raising the ceilings in our entry and hallway and vaulting a portion of the kitchen...

We love our house and neighborhood but these houses built in the 60's are dark.... we are adding a total of 13 windows and 4 skylights.... will be awesome when it is finished...

To start, we need to excavate the area of the footprint of the addition as well as tear off all the rock that was on the foundation and siding of the house...
