A Christmas Miracle
We were enjoying a fine Christmas day yesterday. It was sunny and fairly warm compared the the recent weather.
Nate came up with the idea of spending every Christmas with a trip to the snow. Angie said let's go for it and we loaded up and headed to the snow. 20 miles from home we pulled over and played in the snow.
We also brought our firepit and warmed ourselves up when it got chilly. The next thing we knew, it was pouring down snow! The kids were ecstatic! We were having a white Christmas. After a couple hours, we piled into the car and drove back home. It snowed until 10 miles from home. Then the clouds parted and we returned to the sun of Chico... Truly bizarre, but a perfect day.

that is so fun! Tell Nate I'm totally jealous. You better be expecting a visit from me when I get back into town next week. Hope all is well!
That is awesome! Too bad I was slaving away in the kitchen to get to do something that spontaneous on Christmas day...
